WEDDING IN SPANISH
In Spain, one likes the traditions and all the subjects are good to justify the organization of a feast. We counted more than 25,000 a year, a celebration every twenty minutes, with my preference for that, over three days, entirely dedicated to our friends snails. A Spanish marriage must respect a certain number of usages, witnesses always active of a tradition more than secular. " Las Arras ": the groom will not come to the church empty-handed but will have in his pockets thirteen old pieces of silver or better yet of solid gold. He will spell twelve in the hand of his promised before the ceremony and give the thirteenth to the priest to help the needy. On the eve of the marriage, he asked the hand of his fiancee to his future father-in-law and, to thank him if he accepted, he would offer her a watch. To bail out on the day of the wedding, his tie will be cut into several pieces on the wire of an estoque (a kind of sword) and the pieces will be auctioned
